Notas
EXIST-Gründerstipendium is a German federal program (BMWK) that supports knowledge-intensive, innovative startup ideas originating from universities and research institutions. It provides a monthly living stipend (€2,500 for graduates, €3,000 for post-docs, €2,000 for students) for up to 12 months, plus a €30K project budget for materials and coaching. Applicants must be affiliated with a German university, which acts as the host institution and applies on the team’s behalf. The program covers the idea and business plan validation phase only — the team is not yet expected to have a legal entity.
